(I'm just going to start this off.)
Stormfeather staggered into camp, Lunarstar's lifeless body lugging behind him. His jaws tightened around her scruff, making one more heave as he dropped her body into the middle of camp. He panted, his grey fur ruffled and dotted with wounds. Blood trickled out of his gashes and slightly stained his pelt. The pain clinged at his hide as he limped over to Pantherstrike, nudging him to announce the agonizing news.
(Can Lunarstar show up in Pantherstrike's ceremony? I like using Dark Forest kittehs...)

Breezeclaw gasped in horror, "What happened?!" he glanced around camp, looking for Pantherstrike, or soon to be Pantherstar.

( Since Pantherstrike left after the gathering for Moontunnel, mind someone telling about it from the gathering? :3 )
Whisperheart was strolling into camp after a good night hunting, she she let out a cry of horror, her eyes wide, outrage and sorrow pirckling her fur. "Who killed Lunarstar? Was it Dawnclan?" She stared at Stormfeather, her gaze bearing into him as she waited for an answer from him, or other cats from the gathering.

(lets pretend jawwhisker... i mean jaywhisker was at the gathering)
Jaywhisker nudged the elderly leader's tail so that it curled neatly near her hind legs, "The three clans had a dispute over our ancestors," he said ancestors slowly and carefully, "She fell from the High Rock. She managed to get bad wounds on Cloudstar. He was shredded. He will be dead by sunrise," he confessed, a bit saddened by the losses, "Even Heavyfoot, I mean Heavystar lost a life."

Whisperheart gazed at the tom in horror, wide eyed. " I hope this doesn't happen at the next gathering... Did no cloud cover the moon to stop the losses? " She gazed at the night sky, not a cloud in sight. Just the bright twinkling stars across a shadowed sky.

Jaywhisker shifted his weight, feeling the presence of a Dark Forest cat near, "I doesn't matter, Whisperheart. Even if StarClan covers the moon, the Dark Forest gains power. Hence the name, DARK Forest, DARK sky." he smoothly lied.
Breezeclaw looked at Jaywhisker. He was acting strange. He started to groom Lunarstar, her body seemed much smaller and more frail now that she was...gone.

Whisperheart awkwardly nodded, staring at the night sky, the full moon right in view. "You have a point there..." She mewed, mostly to herself as she began to help groom Lunarstar. Her eyes flitted around at the shadows of the clearing, she watched them closely, shadowy figures seemed to pad inbetween them. Faint colored eyes glinted and claws seemed to scrape the ground, she shivered though she felt more power rising through her at the sight of the... the Dark Forest cats.

Stormfeather padded after the cats, lapping his tongue over Lunarstar's fur. He gave a sideways glance at Jaywhisker and Whisperheart. They didn't seem to have full belief in the Dark Forest. Then again, he didn't either. The powerful aroma of death and decay sent a rapid chill down his spine. He should be soothed by their presence, shouldn't he? With StarClan he felt so relaxed, but now he felt stiffened as if before a battle.

Rabbitstar purred as she watched the cats groom their dead leader. What a disgrace. It seemed that no cats had full beliefs in the Dark Forest! Perhaps the Dark Forest should send down plagues upon them. StarClan wouldn't help them. They wouldn't. Then the Dark Forest can save them. What would it take for these mousebrained cats to understand?

(OMG they should so do that! Send a plague, then the Dark Forest goes to rescue the day so they can all have full beliefs in the Dark Forest. I mean, lets face it... it isn't as fun if most cats have half-beliefs in the DF and half in SC.) Lunarstar padded up behind Rabbitstar, narrowing her eyes as msot of the cats seemed freightened. These cats still didn't understand the power of the Dark Forest, even after her life was shattered for them. She sent a glance at Rabbitstar, sensing her devious idea. She smirked. If a plague was what it took to send a message through these cat's minds, then so be it. She spun around, racing towards the Moontunel. She couldn't be late for Panther...star's ceremony. (Has everyone heard of the Black Plague? I think it should be something like that. )

(Actually it was called Black Death. My bad. But it's was a plague that spreaded through the Roman Empire and was tranfered through rats and fleas (but we could find some other way for it to spread like from fresh-kill) and killed alot of people. But maybe if we don't want that many cats to die, they could just get seriously sick.)

(that sounds good. i'll make a ton of filler characters to die. perhaps i'll make four new cats which will get sick and die. i'll introduce them now)
Ashclaw grumbled as he entered the camp. He tossed a few pieces of prey into the pile that now consisted of three adders, two frogs and one young hawk. He ran his rough tongue over his ashy grey pelt, looking back to see if his patrol had followed.
(the dark forest can send them lots of prey but have them "poisoned")
Fernclaw followed behind Ashclaw, dragging behind the mother hawk. She grabbed the hawk where the scruff would have been (if it was a cat) and heaved it up in order to put it on top of the ever growing fresh-kill pile.
Sparrowflight skidded into camp, bouncing on his paws. He was giddy, as usual. He dropped six sparrows into the pile. All of which he stuffed into his mouth, under his neck, on his back, etc. His fur was naturally clumpy and a muddy brown shade with a slightly lighter brown on his underbelly and muzzle. His eyes were a dull amber color.
(i know, fail names. i could have used Karatechop for all I cared, since they would die later on anyways. and they're all strictly starclan, but they didn't leave when twilightclan did)

( Ohs, I'll make another two ) Shrewpaw padded into camp after his mentor, chest filled with pride as he dropped a young black bird and two sparrows onto the fresh kill pile after the other patrol had returned. The young brownish tan apprentice sat down beside it wondering if he should eat now or later as he licked a patch of white fur on this chest and looked around camp with his brilliant green gaze. Littlestorm padded after his apprentice into camp, his dark grey tail waving behind him. An adder trailed in the dust behind him, its poison slowly trickling into the dust, all that was left anyway. The small dark grey tabby warrior dropped it along the fresh kill and turned a piercing pale blue gaze onto Shrewpaw, his own apprentice. "Don't ever be so loud around that part of the Swamp again! I told you there were adders, you just trampled on over to the rocks and nearly got bitten!" He hissed very quietly at her through clenched teeth as he sat down beside his apprentice, grooming the dust from his dark fur.

(cooliolioliolio)
Mottledpelt slid into camp, her dusty brown pelt held a squirrel on it's back along with a mouse and two crows in her jaws. Prey was surely plentiful. Was DawnClan and TWilightClan getting fattened up like this?
Dustfang padded into camp, a lumpy rabbit and a toad in his jaws. He didn't even know why he bothered to catch the disgusting, slimy creature but he didn't want to come back with only one piece of prey. The other patrol seemed to stock up. He was awe-struck at the sight of the on going fresh-kill pile. They would be well fed and nothing could attack them! Perhaps when Lunastar died, StarClan praised them?

Sparrowflight turned around to the rest of the patrol, "Wasn't today's hunting great?"
Ashclaw looked up, his dull green eyes eyes seemed to glitter. He turned to Dustfang, looking at him, studying him. (XD) It seemed as though he was thinking about something. Ashclaw knew that he was a StarClan believer. Perhaps he thinks that StarClan is showing them that now that Lunarstar's gone, the clan can thrive. Then he let his shoulders droop, right. But they still had Pantherstrike, er Pantherstar.

Pantherstar pushed through the camp entrance, his mind wandering to who he would pick as deputy. It seems none believe that much in the Dark Forest. That needs to change. Oh who will I pick? His mind groaned at him as he delightedley walked passed his clanmates to the fresh kill pile, giving it a sniff. "The Dark Forest is sending us much prey." He murmured to himself, forgetting about his deputy problem for atleast a few minutes.

Whisperheart jumped as she saw Pantherstar return to camp, the new leader. "So, who's going to be deputy, Pantherstar? JUst out of curiousity..." She asked aloud, making sure to try and alert the cats around her, as she wanted to let everyone know it would be time for a new deputy.
Pantherstar let out a growl at the thought, his eyes flitting throughout all the cats. Who could be the one? It seems they all have no trust in the Dark forest, I see it, they think i don't, but I do. His dark mind snarled to him. "Give me a day, I'm letting the Dark Forest pick for me. It seems nobody here has the full trust in them. I'll show you they are our only ancestors by letting them choose an honorful deputy for such a rank. I'll see if they send me a dream tonight. Duskclan will simply have to wait!" The black leader's deep voice rang harshly over the clearing as he answered the challenging black and white she-cat, with out another word, he stalked to his new den, still smelling Lunarstar's fading scent inside of it. Pantherstar had set his mind right and layed down quickly, closing his eyes, though no sleep came to him. Only Darkness.
Whisperheart held back a gasp, her eyes widened as Pantherstar stalked away. The warrior code told that a deputy had to be chosen before moonhigh that day. But according to the Dark Forest, I guess the warrior code is nothing. How will I live with this?! She cried to herself, immediatley staring horridly at the ground with blank eyes. She could almost hear the near silent whooping caterwauls from the hidden Dark Forest cats in the shadows. Whisperheart knew they loved what Pantherstar had said. That's what they wanted, the belief of their souls. The belief of their ways.

(I think Mottledpelt and Dustfang will be siblings)
Mottledpelt perked her ears, catching the words that Pantherstar snapped at Whisperheart. Let the Dark Forest choose for their Deputy? How dare he! Their Clan would soon fall into ruin if they were so open to the ebony cats. The Dark Forest was controlling them! She had full belief in StarClan, but couldn't accept the fact that the StarClan believers had formed their own Clan. She had been here her whole life, and was unsure if you could adapt to the rouges the acquired. She wanted to break free from DuskClan's nasty habits, but she still clung to the old DuskClan. She couldn't watch the shadowy ancestors devour her birth Clan! She was torn, and it seemed as if the Dark Forest and their believers began to grow widely.
Dustfang shot an uneasy glance at his sister as she did the same. The words Pantherstar had spoken were completely inaccurate. Was he possessed with a Dark Forest cat? It was none of their 'ancestors' concern in the deputy's choice. The Warrior Code was being eaten away, piece by piece.
Stormfeather hardly caught the words that Pantherstar said but couldn't help but smirk when he said 'Dark Forest'. He must be adjusting to the new belief. Actually, he seemed to like it. They did have power, something StarClan lacked. A chill still shot down his spine when he felt the dead cats among them, but he refrained from showing it. The rules were getting harsh, and he couldn't let Pantherstar know that he still held onto a sliver of StarClan. He purred in acknowledgement. Eventually, he would give in to the Dark Forest's crusade.
