Cloudstar hesitated before making his way into camp. He heard a collective gasp from his clanmates as he staggered and limped, blood drying and clumping on his torn pelt, his face distorted. He looked like a monster. His eyes were a soft green now, no longer the sharp emerald that he had when he was younger.
Spottedpaw started to nudge poppyseeds towards her father, helping him lap it up. She carefully pressed the cobwebs onto his back. She paused for a second each time he winced. She glanced back towards her mentor.
Acornfur nearly screamed in outrage, leaping forward and getting as close to Cloudstar as she could without touching him. She felt like everything was falling apart. She counted in her head, he was on his last life! There was no way he could survive with such savage wounds.
Cloudstar lifted his eyes, "Do not worry. Shadowbreeze will be a great leader." His voice was hoarse and low. He felt the presence of Bluestream with him and another cat, smaller, a kit perhaps. Behind closed lids he saw the dark pelt of his mate and the soft blue orbs that were her eyes. He could almost feel her warmth and the soft feeling of her fur. Then he saw a ginger pelt with white paws and chest. It was like looking in a river, seeing a reflection of his eyes in this kit's. Leafkit?
It is time to go Father. Your clan will be in good hands. The small kit mewled.
Cloudstar didn't budge, but he turned around and faced the clan that was gathering around him. He hoped he could speak to them one last time.

Shadowbreeze slid into camp after Cloudstar, supporting him up on his side. Could he really be dying? It was a gathering that stole so many lives! He quickly lapped his tongue over Cloudstar's wounds to ease the blood still dripping off his pelt. He shivered when he tasted bone now visable. "G-get some cobwebs. He can't hold much longer. Do everything you can!" he yowled. How could this be happening? Was he ready to be leader? He was just appointed deputy recently, and he may already be becoming leader. He sighed, knowing his fate was in the paws of StarClan.
Robintalon hobbled out of the elders den, her eyes widening at the sight of her dying leader. "What happened? I could smell blood. My nose may be weak, but that much could tear into my senses," she mumbled. "I didn't expect you guys to come back with wounds... from a gathering!" she exclaimed.

Spottedpaw kept applying cobwebs to her father's wounds, but it didn't seem to go away. She felt StarClan working within her, feeling an older tom. She felt his greyish brown fur and his small body, runt of the litter (Tinybreeze). She heard him whisper, "There is only so much that herbs can do. Cloudstar lived a long life in the forests of DawnClan. Spottedpaw, his time is running out." She bit her tongue from crying out. "There...there is nothing else we can do Shadowbreeze," she whimpered.
Cloudstar gazed towards the camp entrance, searching for his kits. Spottedpaw was here and so was Acornfur. Where was Featherpaw? He felt Leafkit prodding his side and Bluestream waiting behind her. He shivered, opening any wounds that was beginning to close. He looked at Shadowbreeze, "Pantherstrike will become leader at any moment. If I can trust what I already know about him, he's rearing to go to the Moontunnel right now. He wants a head start. I suggest you use the back entrance to the tunnel. The one Speckleleaf and I used when Ravenstar died," he muttered.
Acornfur dug her muzzle into Thornfang's shoulder. She didn't want to see her father die, not like this! She felt her skin and eyes burn with anger and outrage, but most of all sorrow. Cloudstar had lived a long and full life, he had been part of this clan for so long. It seemed so wrong to imagine him leaving, let alone dying.

Shadowbreeze stared in horror. Why was this happening? He hesitated, but nodded to Cloudstar and slowly paced to the mouth of the camp. He let out a heavy sigh, glancing back as sorrow clouded his sharp green eyes. With one last look at Cloudstar's dying body, the black tom flicked his tail in goodbye and increased his speed into a swift run, dashing through the back entrance and towards the moontunnel.
(I'll have him get there once Cloudstar dies so he can show up in his dream.)
Robintalon padded towards the scene, huffing beside Cloudstar. It looked as if Cloudstar would die any moment. It was a miracle he was actually able to stand. She pivoted her head, feeling the strange presence of other cats. It seemed as if StarClan were gathering around Cloudstar. He was obveously ready to leave. They must be here, awaiting his arrival.

Dappledpelt entered the camp and quickly joined the group of cats surrounding Cloudstar. She looked at the cream colored leader with wide eyes, she hadn't seen his wounds yet and was suprised at how bad they were. The young warrior looked at her leader and sat down, already feeling tears well up in her eyes.

Speckleleaf heaved a sigh of defeat staring at her dying leader as she stopped the gentle pressing of herbs against his cream coat. She closed her eyes and turned away. " Spottedpaw, I must go with Shadowbreeze so he can become leader under my sight. Take these last moments with your father, but I must go now." She gazed solemnly at her dying leader and gave him a lick of farewell. SHe would never see him again alive, only in Starclan. Speckleleaf dashed away, after Shadowbreeze's black shadow, pain slashing her like the talons of an owl.
Thornfang dug his claws into the ground, giving Acornfur many comforting licks across the head. His dark green eyes were stricken with pain and outrage, but he soothingly mewed to her, " We'll see him again someday, don't worry, we need to let him go... " His voice gave way and he just gave her slight mews of comfort.
Featherpaw raced from the apprentices' den, her blue eyes wide with horror and her fur on end at Cloudstar's scars. Sorrow glazed her eyes and she stared at the other cats, watching Shadowbreeze and Speckleleaf leave. She stared at her father and pressed her silver muzzle against his shoulder gently. "You can't die like this, Cloudstar! Please! Not now!" She cried, nearly wailing in a pain stricken cry.

Spottedpaw felt her eyes prickle (cats can't cry) and she felt like something was being stripped away from her. He can't leave her now... not now. She dry heaved, letting out silent wails, her mouth gaping open as if she were screaming silently to StarClan.
Acornfur pressed herself deeper into Thornfang's fur, her heart beating wildly, her fur burning hot. She wasn't even blood related to him, yet he raised her. Even saved her when she was almost crushed by a tree during the Great Earth Shake.
Cloudstar shuddered when his kits pressed against him, "Bluestream? Bluestream is that you?"
Spottedpaw looked around, Bluestream? Her mother? But she died a while ago! She parted her jaws and scented that motherly scent that was covered in the scent of ancestors. Cloudstar's time was up.
Cloudstar shivered and then spoke, his voice echoing as if the StarClan members around him were chanting along, "Shadowstar, Shadowstar." The green eyes of his clouded over and then closed. His flanks ceased to rise and fall and the scent of death had already taken over him.
Spottedpaw let out a loud wail seeming to reach across the forests. Why?
Acornfur stared at her leader, no former leader now. She looked at Spottedpaw, "Gather lavender, it will rid of this scent on him," she mewed sadly. (they use lavender right? idr)

( Yeah, last I remember xP ) Featherpaw joined in her sisters long wail, only ending it when she snuffed the air to find Bluestream's scent, and to dig her nose into her father's blood red fur. Pain stricken, she layed down and closed her eyes, silent wails echoing from her mouth as if all of Starclan had cried out at Cloudstar's death. Thornfang shuddered at the wails of his clanmates. He lowered his head in deep sorrow but added to Spottedpaw after Acornfur, " They smell very sweet-scented and are a type of purple flower. " ( Err. I think, I'm guessing on what Thornfang sai, I just suspect that )

Acornfur nudged Thornfang slightly, mentally telling him that Spottedpaw was blind and could not see the color purple.
Spottedpaw nodded, wondering what purple looked like. She padded around the edge of camp where she remembered her mother telling her that was where lavender often grew. She found the scent quickly and gathered some. When she got back, she saw that the cats had already moved Cloudstar into the center of the camp.
Acornfur licked her father's nose. His fur was clean of blood, only the scent was left. What was left of his flank and pelt was carefully covering any open wounds. He almost looked whole. She took some lavender and rubbed it onto his pelt, masking any bad scents.
Spottedpaw sniffed around to locate Cloudstar's paws. Once she found them, she arranged them near his face so it seemed like he was sleeping (let's ignore the fact that she doesn't know what cats look like when they sleep...).
---
The spirit of Cloudstar sat only a few tail lengths from his real body. Great sadness filled his heart. They'd see him again, but hopefully not soon. He looked back to Leafkit and Bluestream. He was ready. But before he was able to leap into the sky, he felt the calling. He needed to be there are Shadowbreeze's ceremony. He dipped his head and raced of towards the Moontunnel.
(gold, you can start his ceremony when you can)

( I'll do Pantherstrike's ceremony after Gold does Shadowbreeze. )
Thornfang twitched his ears in a sad acknowledgement, hardly remembering the young medicine cat apprentice's blindness. He slumped down to the ground beside the leader, beginning to grieve for the night, he glanced up at Acornfur, inviting her to join him for vigil. The warrior heaved a sigh, gazing back down at Cloudstar, whispering his words to the tom's body that seemed to echo through the night, " Thank you for everything you have done for the clan. You were a wonderful leader who led our clan well. Thank you, especially for how you easily took control during the Great Shake. But especially, thank you for Acornfur. " Thornfang raised his muzzle to the darkened sky, his heart throbbing, but his eyes twinkling like stars.

(Okay I'll start that now. I wasn't able to get on the computer yesterday. My mom was on all day.)
Robintalon followed the crowd of cats and shrunk beside Cloudstar's lifeless corpse. She gently licked his fur, flattening out any tufts and skin. She pressed her muzzle into his cream coat now drained with scarlet. "We'll all see you again in StarClan," she whispered.
(It's snowing... but the sky's blue... my house is weird xD)

( how strange )
Acornfur pressed flank against Thornfang and purred at his words. How sweet (Awwie <3) she pushed her nose against his spine, which, at least, was not shattered. She looked at Thornfang, "And thanks for always being there," she seemed to smile through all the grief.
Spottedpaw rested her head over her father's in the space between his two ears. Her sightless eyes stayed positioned forward. Shadowstar would be coming back soon. Perhaps he would want to aid in the burial since there are only three (or more, i don't remember) elders.
Hawktalon (i'm not sure if I killed him yet, but lets pretend he's still alive and an elder) sighed at the recent death. He felt saddened for Shadowstar. He was only appointed deputy this moonhigh, and now he's leader and needs to appoint another deputy. He gazed around the clan. Who would become deputy now?

(aww now they're mates <3)
Acornfur let out a light purr and then sadly looked at her father. He looked so small and helpless. Before it seemed impossible to think of him as a kit, but now he seemed like one.

(err yes. they can be mates)
Hawktalon padded up to his mate, Robintalon, and pushed his muzzle against hers. He looked at Acornfur and Thornfang. Ah, young love. It seems like only a moon ago that Acornfur was only a 'kit, and same for Thornfang.

Robintalon let out a soft purr and rubbed her muzzle into Hawktalon's fur. She smiled at Acornfur and Thornfang. They reminded her of them in their younger age.

(uhhh i'm not sure how to reply since my kitty doesn't have a crush yet...)
Dappledpelt ignored the loveydovey stuff going on around her and continued to sit next to Cloudstar's body. The young warrior has no crush, so she doesn't know exactly what the love the two couples have is like. (hmmmmmm Dappledpelt does need a crush, don't want her to be a lonely oldfart XD )

(i'll make one. i have no more toms anyway. i'll write his description later, but for now here he is...)
Oakfur (I really wanted his name to be Oakheart but... you know...) padded into camp, carrying a few mice and put it in the pile. He dipped his head to his deceased leader, feeling a dull pang in his chest. How sad. He spotted Dappledpelt and then looked away quickly, feeling his heart race a bit. He wanted to tell her his feelings, but since Cloudstar died it would be a bit strange and the worse timing.
