Dag nodded, this time walking slower. As his pace slowed, he gradually mixed with his surroundings. He smilled, but he was still slightly silouetted against he dull corner when he sped up. He slowed down again, his pace barely walking and it were as if he were still.

Mr. Burr looked around at the students then jumped onto a desk and sat down on it. " When it comes to hunting prey being patient is the key. We need to be able to blend into our surroundings, until the right moment appears and we can attack. Herbivores can run really fast, but thats if they see us first. " Mr. Burr looked around the classroom at the other mythicals practicing their powers. " It's to crowded in here to practice techniques for hunting and blending in, lets go outside." He jogged out of the classroom and led the way outside, going around the herbivore mythicals while they practiced running.
Fallon mumbled under her breath, mad about her form being a retarded looking wolf instead of a regular one. She listened to Mr. Burr and then followed him outside, walking on four legs.
Pearson cocked his head to the side at Mr. Burr's words. i'm a WHITE tiger how can i blend in anywhere? He got up and followed him outside anyway, hoping Mr. Burr would help him figure out a way to blend in.

Maya nodded and trotted behind everyone to go outside. This would be an easy day. Stealth was her specialty.
Jasper groaned and rose to his paws, following his class at the tail of them.

Daniel looked at Ivy, "Oh and Ice's trick reminded me. And it fits too. When you're transferring your heat from your mouth to, let's say your hands, your hands are heating up. You can do this to any part of your body to raise it's temperature. For example, like I just did. So the coffee wouldn't completely burn my face off," he shot a glare at Ice, "I made my temperature around my face really high so the coffee felt like tap water."

Ivy thoughtfully flared her nostrils, flickering her tail behind her and watching it heat up bit by bit till it had turned from a white color to a bright pink as it burned swiftly across it. She waved it around and then touched the nearest desk. To her surprise, it sizzled and sparked, she immediatley pulled it away wide eyed.
Indigo gazed doubtfully at Mr. Burr, her fur was a very pale grey and she figured she'd have some trouble. The husky girl followed the group of carnivores right in front of Jasper. She glanced at Pearson, happy that atleast she wouldn't be the only mythical who might have some trouble here.

Once outside Mr. Burr walked into tall grass near the begining of the forest. "I know some of you have light fur, but don't worry that won't stop you from blending in. Shadows are everyone's friend, anyone can blend into them. He walked backwards, slowly disappearing into the long shadows the trees cast behind them, untill only his glowing eyes could be seen through the shadows. " I want everyone to find a spot to hide, be it in a tree, in shadows, or in grass it doesn't matter. I will look for all of you and help with your blending in, but really I don't want to be able to find you, kinda like hide and seek I guess. Now go hide. Mr. Burr smirked then trotted to the center of the tall grass and closed his eyes, waiting for everyone to hide.
Fallon quickly rushed into the forest when Mr. Burr told them to hide. She climbed a tall tree, sitting in the shadows on a large branch and waited for Mr. Burr to find her.
Pearson frowned than ran into the forest, searching for a place to hide. He settled for hiding in the shadows of a few trees, crouching low to the ground, hoping that Mr. Burr wouldn't see his white fur.

Maya rolled her eyes. Yes, remind me to tell that to a white wolf the next time I go hunting with one. She sarcastically thought, mockery in her head. She pranced into the midsts of a shadow, her black fur easily blending in as if she were the shadow itself. Her eyelids shut so that her sharp blue eyes couldn't give her away.
Jasper looked around and sunk into the long grass, the fur on his belly barely grazing the ground. He stood there for a moment before his eyes lit up with an idea. He rolled around in the dirt as his pelt was drowned with the brown substance so his bright fur wouldn't shine. He shrunk back to the ground again, feeling slightly more confident about his stealth technique although he didn't care much for stealth, he normally just ran after the prey and caught it with a swift bite.

((Guurrrrrrhhh, sorry I'm late. D: ))
Suzanna flitted over to Mrs. Fan when she called for all of the birds. As she gave her her task, she concentrated on thinking of how to outsmart anything trying to get her. When the huge eagle lunged at her, she buzzed backwards, then attempted to dodge the rain of 'attacks' directed at her. The small hummingbird failed more than she succeded, but she was startign to get the hang of it. Why anything would waste energy chasing a tiny mouthful of bones and feathers, she didn't know, but it might be useful to know anyway.
When the teacher was distracted talking to Dag, she shot forward and tapped the teacher playfully on the back with her beak, chittering a small bird-laugh.

Mrs. Fan nodded pleasantly to Dag but let her feathers fluff up as she felt a beak poke her in the back. She turned with a quick caw and faced her tiny student, grinning and slapping a talon straight into the air, purpously missing right to her left, seeing if she could get Suzanna to go right so she could strike right and continue like that.
Indigo quickly trotted away to the edge of the forest, finding a tall tree. She sniffed around it and found a hole atleast five foot off the ground, quite large as if created for an owl, a large one. She crouched down and launched herself up it, scrabbling hard against the bark with thick white claws and jumping inside like a cat. She huddled in the darkest area of the hole, squashing the old scented leaves into the entrance of the hole.

Mr.Burr flicked his tail, happy that the hide and seek thing was working out. He opened his eyes then started looking in the forest. He found Pearson easily and sent him back to the tall grass with a quick tip of light fur will hide better in a light environment, not next to dark bushes. He then purposly walked right past Jasper, pleased that he had rolled in the dirt to make himself blend in more, and tried to look for a student with darker fur. He smiled when he noticed a odd bunch of leaves sticking out of a hole in a tree. He leaped up into the tree and stuck his head quickly into the hole, pushing through the leaves, hoping to get a good reaction out of whatever was in there.
Pearson walked slowly to the tall grass, his tail dragging. Once there he sat down and waited for everyone else to be found, mad that he couldn't think of a better hiding spot.

Jasper sighed and trotted towards Pearson, sitting beside him. "I'd like to see them find us in the arctic," he murmured to the white tiger.

Indigo's ears raised and she knew she'd been found. Her fur would show like a star in the night. Knowing this, she would give herself a 'fighting' chance. Immediatley, she rushed forward and with a quick leap, pummeled into Mr. Burr and pushed him away from the hole. Indigo heard a slight thump! as she landed ontop of him, pushing the snow leopard against the ground. "This would sure surprise my prey, hmm?" Indigo countered with a smirk.

( Whoops, think I forgot about Guy ) Guy immediatley dashed forward, his hooves clattering the ground as he reached the end of the hallway in a few quick leaps. He scraped his hooves against the ground happily as he had finished, turning his deep brown gaze across to the rabbit teacher. "Do you think we should go outside? So we would be able to run longer distances at faster speeds to see how me do?" Guy asked, shaking his sides a bit and flicking his tail.

Mrs. Frith gave Guy a nod of acceptance. "My thoughts exactly. This hallway is much too slim for us to run in. Come on class," she said, bouncing outside and into the fresh air. She quickly dodged all the carnivores and took the opposing side of the field. This was made entirely of meadows and flat lands, great for practicing running. She spun around to face her class and said, "Now, show me how fast you can run. We'll start off simple with no interactions yet. This meadow is very large and wide, but I have no doubts we could go beyond this. You are required to circle the land a total of three times to get your blood pumping." Without anything else said, Mrs. Frith leaped forward, her paws only hitting the ground for a brief second before she launched herself out more. Her small body leaped a few feet with every jump as she ran swiftly, skidding around the corners. After she had completely the circumfrence a total of three times, she halted besdie her students and said, "Now you try. Be sure to run as fast as you can to outrun your enemies. We are not as dumb as humans believe we are. Herbivores could outrun a car and still have energy left."
Kevin nodded to the teacher, hopping forward. His pace was steady but quick as his small arms hung lazily at his chest, letting his powerful legs propell him forwards. He had a blank expression on his face as he finished the three circles pretty easily.

Pearson nodded and looked at Jasper, noticing his the dirt on his fur. " Yeah, but rolling in the dirt was smart, all i did was stand behind some trees and hope Mr. Burr didn't find me....it didn't work out well." Pearson mumbled as he started to clean dirt out of his claws, ignoring the thud he heard in the forest. Finished with picking dirt clumps out of his claws he resulted to counting the grass . Mr. Burr deffinitly got a good reaction, but not the type he expected. His eyes widened in surprise as Indigo knocked him out of the tree on to the ground below. He pushed her off then rolled over onto his feet, " That would suprise anything, uh good job." He muttered to Indigo , stumbling away from her to go find the other students. He found Fallon in a tree and sent her back, then started looking for Maya. He spotted the outline of Maya in a shadow and hopped up onto the nearest tree branch to her. He peeked his head through its leaves, " I seeee you...come on lets join the others." He said to the dark shape, hoping he wouldn't get a painful reaction like Indigo's.

Maya leaped out of the shadows and whizzed over his head. She flung herself just behind him and smirked. She figured one startle was enough for him, and there wasn't much point of attacking a teacher. She trotted over towards the other group and sat down, slightly proud she was the last to be found.
"Yeah, I figured my light coat would give myself in if I didn't think about something," he said. Jasper glared at Maya who had sauntered by them with her chest puffed out. Show off he thought, muttering it under his breath.

Indigo padded away from Mr. Burr with a smile, any enemy or prey would've freaked out if they had had that happen to them. She soon stood beside the others with a simple husky smile across her face.
Guy glanced eagerly to Mrs. Frith, following Kevin at a fast pace, racing the laps quickly. His haunches pushed him forward in great leaps, and his front legs were able to get him a good landing and keep him in balance. Guy ended his laps around the flatland area with a huff, ending beside his teahcer, ready for more. He sniffed the grass a little bit as he waited, letting his senses wander.

Mr. Burr jogged quickly back to the group, the relief that Maya didn't tackle him showing on his face. "Good job all of you. Each of you stuck the shadows, even though some of you have lighter fur than others. But remember lighter fur blends in better with lighter environments, like snow and the grey rocks on the mountains." Mr.Burr paused and looked at Jasper and Pearson before continuing "You can see that the herbivores are practicing running. Now we may not be able to chase them down for long periods of time and catch them. But all we need is a quick burst of speed and with the element of surprise on our side we can catch anything.I'm sure most of you know that there is a large rock about a quarter-mile into the forest.I want y'all to run to it and back as fast as you can while making as little noise as possible. You can go whenever you want."
Pearson nodded to Jasper, knowing that his white tiger fur did give him in. He watched as Maya joined them, obviously happy to be the last one to be found. Once Mr.Burr said they could go he shot in to the forest, trying not to make any noise.
Fallon bolted into the forest, running on all fours to give her more speed. She carefully avoided trees and bushes, only stepping on a few twigs that let out soft snaps as she crushed them.

Immediatley after Mr. Burr had told them what to do, Indigo turned tail and shot into the forest, leaving the others behind her. Indigo's sharp blue eyes caught sight of every twig, every leaf, every shadow as she raced forward, avoiding them all. Her white husky tail was swooshing steadily behind her, Indigo's pink tongue began to loll out. Within about five minutes, Indigo skidded to a stop right in front of the rock Mr. Burr had talked of. She gave the rock a sharp slash to show she had been there, then, turned tail again and dashed through the forest.
X-X-X
When a little more time passed, about ten minutes, the pale grey husky girl padded out of the darkness of the forest. She stopped where she had been before and let out a sigh, resting her head against the ground and panting.
