(*coughcough* Lia... Crowfeather... *coughcough* xD)
Wolfstar emerged in the Gathering area. This place was a leafy hollow; trees guarded the edges and acted as if the hollow didn't exist and if it was only a common patch of mixed trees. There, in the center, four different trees stood tall and proud, as if they were exclusively designed for the Clans.
The first tree was burnt and layered with black bark. Although it looked aged and withered, it was young and full of spirit. Strong branches latched onto the sides and could support the heaviest of cats. This was FireClan's tree.
A few tail-lengths from that tree was a glorious willow tree, bursting with life and colors. Its stringy leafs blew softly in the breeze which hung by the thick branches. This was (none other than) WillowClan's tree.
Another tail length away or two was a hollow oak tree, strong and confidently rising to the sky. The leaves were tinted golden and fluttered through the wind. This tree was rock hard and seemed nearly impossible to destroy. This was BoulderClan's tree.
Lastly, a pine tree with needles that flared outwards and the brown ones miserably fell to the soft ground stood. Pine cones blossomed from what used to be seeds and hung on for dear life before dropping to the ground like the pine needles. The branches were cool and the leaves seemed cold. This was IceClan's tree.
The four trees awaited their owners to perch themselves onto their branches with a warming welcome. They gazed over the clearing where the other clans would sit.
The beautiful silver she-cat leaped onto the willow tree and calmly sat down. Her paws that were gradually dipped white stood on the edge. Her tail refrained from lashing to and fro. Her icy blue eyes shut as her patience began to draw in. Her silver figure was outlined in the sinking sun.
Stormfeather soon followed in beside Wolfstar and calmly sat beneath her tree. He scanned the area. No other Clan seemed to be in their midst. He licked his fur as he awaited the others.
The rest of the Clan appeared. Littlebird, Mistcloud, Marshfoot, and Bogwhisper all came in. Marshfoot padded his elderly self over to the Medicine cat area of his Clan. Mistcloud and Littlebird sat side by side. Mistclouds expression was relaxing while Littlebirds was stern and impatient. Bogwhisper sat on the far side of the she-cats and wrapped his tail neatly around his paws.
The Gathering was soon to begin.

Rabbitstar leaped onto the BoulderClan tree. Her green eyes watching as the other cats gathered around.
The brown tom wove into the tree, pressed his back against the cool bark. Larksinge motioned for the rest of his clanmates to follow him.
Cloudpaw was jumping around and stopped in front of Larksinge. He watched as his fellow apprentice, Jaypaw, padded forward slowly. Jaypaw's light grey fur seemed dull in the light moonlight.
Silverfrost followed after Jaypaw, "Don't be so sharp," she hissed under her breath, her icy blue eyes as sharp as her words. Her light silver tail flicked against her younger brother's muzzle as she quickly trotted towards the deputy.
Crowfang followed the patrol, his unsheathed claws digging into the earth with each step.

( I'm just going to skip the whole back at camp, how Whisperheart told his leader. Punishment: Sleeping in the Apprentice's den for a moon. )
Redstar led the way his clan into camp, his ribs shown out of a sleek deep ginger pelt, but his tail and head was held high. The tom leaped into the black, burnt tree, Fireclan's tree murmuring to Whisperheart, " I hope your ready to speak for yourself here, its likely they will say something about this. "
Whisperheart gritted his teeth and sat at the foot of the soot coated tree, his claws digging into the ground as he glanced at Wolfstar and Rabbitstar. His black and white fur was sleek against his ribs, and his ears twitched with unease.
Fireclan cats poured into the gathering area their ribs shown against their sleek pelts as they huddled together amongst their own clanmates, murmuring near silently. A white tabby with grey stripes stretched and padded away from her own clanmates, heading into the Boulderclan area. Whitefeather weaved among the cats, looking for a cat to share news with, though she wished not to give away too much of her clan.

(Gah sorry super duper late start. I guess i'll be Iceclan ) Frozenstar looked around the gathering area, seeing that the other clans were already here. Annoyed at herself for not leaving earlier the white furred leader jumped onto a cool branch in her clan's tree. She looked around the gathering area through light blue eyes, so light blue they appeared white with only hints of blue swimming in them. Swampfoot, the deputy, sat next to the cool pine tree. His brown fur with tan stripes helped him almost blend in completely with the pinecones around him. He batted a few aside and waited for his brother. Quickfoot looked exactly like his brother, except for his eyes. His brother had clear yellow eyes while he had more of a darker yellow. The two were inseperable. They did every thing together and were hardly seen apart. Cats got tired of guessing and ended up nicknaming them the foots. Frozenstar is the only cat that can tell them apart, together or separate. Quickfoot trotted over to Swampfoot, sitting down in the spot that he cleared of pinecones. Icypelt,Frostfang, and Bluepaw followed their leader to the tree. Sitting down the Iceclan cats waited for the gathering to begin, not knowing about what happened between the other three clans.

Rabbitstar looked around, "Are we ready to begin?" she asked, but waited for no answer. She saw the other three leaders and their deputies and clans. "I'll go first, leafbare is hard this cycle" (cycle's will be their word for year) she said, subtly looking at the thin FireClan cats, "But BoulderClan has expanded their territory farther back, closer to the twoleg place. It is a dangerous place to hunt, but twolegs feed our prey fattening foods. And with the stupid kittypets, we have no competition. We have two new births, Snowkit and Featherkit. Sadly, their mother and father died due to blackcough. Overall, all is good in BoulderClan." she concluded, taking a small step to the side on her branch.
Larksinge was gawking at the extremely thin FireClan cats. He felt a light twinge of guilt when Rabbitstar let the whole forest know about their expansion of territory. BoulderClan was well fed, yes, but what would they say about them expanding into twoleg territory?
(I think Whisperheart should say something like "why would you expand your territory into twoleg places?" and Jaypaw can say "well, apparently some cats will do anything for an extra squirrel or two" XD or not, i'm just finding a way to get Jaypaw smacked)

Wolfstar nodded. "Thank you, Rabbitstar," she announced "prey is beginning to subside and is getting tougher to catch. Luckily, we haven't had any deaths this leaf-bear but we cannot promise much..." She looked at the thin FireClan cats for a few moments. Then, she continued "I am of slight guilt admitting this, but I assume we should not let such a crisis go unnoticed throughout all the Clans. We all deserve to know." She puffed out her chest and raised her voice, making sure all of the cats could hear her. "A FireClan cat was caught smuggling prey from our territory. He managed to swipe a mouse, squirrel, and vole from our boundaries but they were later retrieved back to us from the common dawn patrol. I am about sure he has been punished due to his small crime," she concluded.
Littlebird flexed her claws deep into the earth with frustration. How dare she not mention the name! That coward! she thought. She barred her teeth and yowled "Whisperheart! It was Whisperheart! The FireClan deputy!"
Mistcloud sprang to her paws with shock and tried to calm down the angered calico she-cat but was pushed to the side. Has she gone mad?

Whisperheart's hackles had raised and his claws were dug deep into the ground, gasps caught around him and several Fireclan cats stared at him. Anger was not to be found in their eyes, but curiousity and fear. Whisperheart simply clawed his way up to sit beside Redstar, who stepped aside so he could speak. Redstar was getting older, and only had two lives, this would give him experience for gatherings. The old leader nodded slowly, "Speak for your clan, before you tell them what you have done and why." Redstar meowed, his light amber eyes glittering.
Whisperheart heaved a sigh before fixing Littlebird with a hard stare, before slowly meeting the other leaders gazes. The tom's green eyes rested on Wolfstar before meowing loudly, " I know what I've done, and my punishment is my clan's business. I did this because it is a harsh leafbare, we've lost two elders already, and a young kit. Mosstail, Shadowstorm, and Pigeonkit. I'm sorry for what I've done, but I wished to help my clan, you've probably already seen it, but Fireclan has had a large loss of prey. Twolegs have taken over our richest area to find prey, they are cutting down trees and hauling them off in large monsters. We are struggling, the prey has run off. " The black and white tom bowed his head, his green eyes closed as he waited for a reply.
Redstar helped to finish off Whisperheart's words by quickly stepping forward, heaving a large sigh. " The time has come for Fireclan to ask for help, for an area of land. Only for this leaf-bare. We only need to regain our strength, then you may take back that area. Please, my clan is dying. "
( Near the end of the gathering I'll try to make Whisperheart's son, Brown-nose, call out about Boulderclan's expantions. )

Larksinge looked at Rabbitstar. Of course BoulderClan wouldn't allow FireClan cats to set a paw in their territory, let alone let them have it for a whole leafbare.
Rabbitstar kept her voice firm, "I apologize, but we will not give territory out to any clan." she said, her green eyes sharp and emotionless, as she stared straight into Whisperheart's eyes rather than Redstar's.
Cloudpaw almost yowled. It wasn't fair, how come BoulderClan could be strong and the other clans couldn't? He could see every clan's ribs except for BoulderClan's. Surely a small forest would help!
Jaypaw stepped on Cloudpaw's tail and nicked him with an unsheathed claw, "You idiot, BoulderClan will be one of the strongest clans. If FireClan dies out, then there will be more territory for the strong clans. You'll understand that you'll need to do whatever you can in order to survive. To be the strongest."
Silverfrost was bewildered, how could Rabbitstar deny a plea with such a merciless stare? She glanced anxiously at the sky, but the moon was as bright as ever. Surely StarClan wouldn't want FireClan to starve!

(Oh meh gosh... we should have a battle form in the gathering and then the moon covers up or something!)
Wolfstar nodded but remained silent for a few more moments. She gazed down at her Clan, seeing numerous shakes of disapproval including Stormfeather's. She was normally a fair and obedient leader, but she put her Clan above the rest. Giving out free portions of her territory could lead to the extinction of her own Clan. "I apologize, but we cannot afford to give you a small portion of our territory. We are barely passing along as it is. I must decline your offer," she said before closing her eyes and wrapping her tail neatly around her paws. Did StarClan want this to happen?
Littlebird smiled with approval at the leader's wise decision. She flashed a glare at Whisperheart and smirked. Weaklings! You won't stand but a moon! I bet we won't see you at the next Gathering... she thought.
Mistcloud sighed and dropped her head. She would have given out the territory. Without four Clans, chaos would soon rise. This had to be a mistake! She looked up at the moon that was glistening brightly with almost blinding light. Stars twinkled around them as if StarClan agreed. Did they really want FireClan to die?

Crowfeather nodded. Good, so far two of the three clans have turned down the plea. If IceClan says no, then FireClan would be gone. And more prey for the real clans. He glanced up at the sky, bright as day. The shining moon reminded him of gleaming fangs or sharp claws.
Rabbitstar's tail twitched slightly at the few cats that actually wanted to share their territory. Fools! She hissed to herself. She unsheathed her claws and stabbed the branch and then sheathed them again. This Gathering will be quite interesting.

"Are you sure that you won't give us a small part of your territory? Your warriors are strong, and you seem to be able to spare atleast a small piece. You'd get it back as soon as the first buds of new leaf grew. Unless you wish to watch Fireclan die, and hold the blame along with the rest of the clans." Whisperheart meowed, his green eyes narrowed, though they were pleading.

"If you die than you die! It's the circle of life! We do not make bargains with life and death! This is no other Clans concern!" Sotrmfeather spat. He acted as if he were about to spin around and walk away. His claws flexed in the moist earth and began to tear delicate strains of grass from the soft earth.
"If you die, we persevere! More land, more prey... we'd be living the pampered life of a kittypet!" Littlebird yowled.
Mistcloud shrunk in the giant mass of cats who seemed to not care at all if FireCLan died. We've always had four Clans! This isn't fair!
Marshfoot coughed as he stared at the moon. It was shining perfectly. Perhaps we only need three Clans to survive? StarClan seemed to have no interest in the subject, or they approved of it.
"Silence!" Wolfstar ordered as her clan began to die "that's enough! I am sorry Whisperheart, but we can't afford to share our territory. I'm trying to be as reasonable as possible." She looked at her paws, refusing to make eyes contact with any other cat. They may look strong, but they were half-starved. If anything they could use extra land, not give it away.

Cliffpaw stared in anger at Littlebird, fire twinkling in his eyes. "If you want to eat like a pampered kittypet... Go live in the twoleg place you worthless-" Cliffpaw was silenced by a flaming gaze from Whisperheart.
Whisperheart's fur stood on end, his tail straightened. Was his clan destined to die? He dug his claws into the bark of the ash covered tree, staring at Rabbitstar and Frozenstar. He quickly switched it to Cliffpaw, then back as the apprentice cursed against them. " " Enough, Cliffpaw...Frozenstar? What about you? And Rabbitstar? You have just expanded your territory, you must be able to spare something. "

Frozenstar sat calmly on her branch as the gathering became intense, focusing on her thoughts. Finally the pure white leader cleared her throat loudly (Can cats clear their throat??) "I believe it's my turn to speak. We have enough food, not alot, but enough to feed us. We have had one new birth, Grasskit, and no deaths. All is good in Iceclan. She stared at Redstar and Whisperheart, then at Swampfoot, hoping her clan would approve of what she was going to do. " I know that if my clan was struggling I would want another clan to help us. I don't want to give up Iceclan territory for a whole leafbare either...but I am willing to compromise. There is a small section of our territory that is a long way from our camp, there is prey there, but we only hunt there if we are desperate. The section's far side is apart of the border between Iceclan territory and Fireclan territory. I will allow Fireclan cats to hunt there, but the territory is still Iceclan's and Iceclan cats will still be able to hunt there too. Fireclan cats can hunt in that section on a few conditions: They do not attack Iceclan cats hunting there, they only hunt in that section, they don't take all of the prey there, and they only hunt there this leafbare, no longer. If Fireclan accepts and follows these conditions they can hunt on that section, if one of these conditions is broken, Fireclan won't be allowed to hunt in Iceclan territory. If you accept I will have warriors mark the section imediatly after the gathering.
Swampfoot looked up, shocked at Frozenstars words. But nodded quickly, showing that he approved of what the leader said. He frowned though, worried by one thing his leader said. Iceclan hasn't used that section to hunt in moons! But by the way Frozenstar is talking it sound like she thinks we might need to use it soon. He looked at his brother who scooted closer to Swampfoot and pressed his pelt against Swampfoot's pelt, already knowing that his brother was worried about something.

Whisperheart heaved a sigh of relief, stepping back to let Redstar stand in front of him.
The ginger leader dipped his head in gratitude, " We accept, for all of Fireclan thanks you, Frozenstar. You will get your territory back as soon as the first buds of newleaf grow. As for the other leaders... " Anger blazed through Redstar's light amber eyes, darkening them till they burned like fire. " I hope your happy. You kept your territory, and I hope you look up to Frozenstar, and learn from her. Wolfstar, I understand you, but Rabbitstar.... You have gotten more land, your warriors are well-fed, and you turn us down? Iceclan can atleast feed themselves, and they gave us a little of their territory. " Redstar stared at Rabbitstar, his hackles raised and his dark ginger pelt bristling, along with sharp black claws unsheathed.
Cliffpaw jumped to his paws, his claws unsheathed and his fiery ginger pelt ablaze in the moonlight. " You greedy piece of crowfood! All you care about is feeding your own clan, if every clan were to die out, you wouldn't even feel any guilt. You'd just sit around with your clan of pampered kittypets and not have a care in the world! " This time, CLiffpaw was not stopped by his mentor, and deputy to the clan, Whisperheart.

Wolfstar nodded at Frozenstar and Redstar but remained silent. She watched with wide-eyes as many FireClan cats began to spring to their paws with bristling fur and unsheathed claws, as if a fight was about to break loose and chaos would soon attack. Her claws gradually unsheathed as she dug them into the branch. Why was the moon still shining brightly? Can't StarClan see what is about to happen? Have they become blind?
Stormfeather watched with narrowed, angered eyes as cats rose into a fighting position. He whipped around to face the FireClan cats and taunted "I wouldn't be showing off your fancy claws now! Considering you’re so hungry you pleading for more territory, I don't think you could bare a fight!"
Littlebird jumped to her paws with Stormfeather. "Yeah! We'll rip your hungry little paws to shreds! I wouldn't be being a smart-tail (lol smart-tail xD) around the other Clans when you can't afford to smart off, wise guy!" she hissed as she angrily tore fresh blades of grass from the earth, leaving an unsown path of dirt before her.

Cliffpaw lashed his tail and stared at Littlebird, and then at Stormfeather " Wanna bet? . " He bared his teeth but stayed back, as the other warriors around him pushed the hot-headed apprentice backward.
Whisperheart stared with cold eyes at Stormfeather, " I hope your happy, atleast you get to keep your prey and become the pampered kittypets you wish to be. "
Redstar held his head high, " Enough Fireclan! We've got what we need, and we thank Iceclan. This gathering should end before any cat decides to break our truce, including my own cats. " His eyes narrowed at the Fireclan cats, though he stared at Littlebird and Stormfeather as well, as if he were searching out which cats he would launch himself at if a fight were to break out between one clan and another.

Jaypaw scoffed, loud enough for Whisperheart to hear, "FireClan dares to question us on our expansion and continue to beg? Apparently cats will do anything for some scrawny pieces of prey." (there goes Jaypaw)
Crowfang nodded and scoffed as well, "Look up at the sky Jaypaw, do you see any clouds? No, the moon is just as bright, if not brighter. Perhaps StarClan wants only three clans in the forest."
Rabbitstar leaped off of the branches but did not silence her cats. Her head was held high, she did not need to answer back to these starving cats. Let them save their dying breaths on someone else.

Whisperheart immediatley pushed past Rabbitstar to reach Jaypaw, nose to nose with the apprentice, " Oh? What would you feel like if you were starving too? Wouldn't you be trying to get help? OR would you rather be chased out of the forest by the other clans? How would that feel, Jaypaw? Besides! Why would you need an expansion if you already are fat and strong! Go live in the Twolegplace if you want to be pampered with all the food in the world you want!, "

Jaypaw didn't flinch, instead he unsheathed his claws and bore his teeth, "What pride will it give you? What reward would it give you to know you're arguing with an eight-moon apprentice? What if you challenge me to a battle? Hm? Would you be proud to exclaim that you've beaten a mere apprentice?"
Rabbitstar hissed and whipped around, facing Whisperheart, "You ungrateful piece of crowfood! How dare you! Be glad someone at least listened to your pathetic pleas. And BoulderClan wouldn't ask for help. We can be self-sufficient."
Crowfang mumbled under his breath, "If only FireClan were self-sufficient."
