Lunarstar flashed a glare at Rainstorm. Was their more StarClan believers than there are Dark Forest? Her claws flexed into the moist earth as she noticed Breezeclaw doing the same. It was as if she could understand waht he was saying, and she agreed.
(So the drama begins!)
***At Dusk***
Lunarstar scrambled up on the highrock, her frail bones strugled to lift her weight. Finally, she managed to reach the top. She sat on her stiff legs and announced "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey, meet here below the highock for a clan meeting".
Once all the cats were gathered below her humble stone, she said "Tonight, three great warrior were lost..."She dipped her head with greif and continued "Greystorm, Skunkstripe, and Firefoot... we will all miss you and may our ancestors welcome you" she said, again not saying any specific name.
(Do you guys mind if Lunarstar seperates the clan now? I was going to do it but I thought I should get permission. ^.^)

Rainstorm almost hissed when she noticed Lunarstar leaving out the fact that StarClan would welcome them. She dug her claws into the soil and bit her tongue as the kit within her squirmed once more.
Breezeclaw gave a small smile, Lunarstar was skipping over that part. The Dark Forest wouldn't want those mushy warriors anyway. Their skills were great, yes and they would have been to great use in the clan. But their hearts were soft like those starry warriors.
Badgerfang just sat there, staring off into space sadly. He could feel it in his elderly heart that something wrong was about to happen. Something that would greatly upset his ancestors.
(sure Gold. are you going to have the df -dark forest- believers stay in camp or have the starclan believers leave?)

(Yeah... I wouldn't imagine Lunarstar leaving xD)
Lunarstar spoke up "Now... onto other buisness" she said with a small hiss. "As you've noticed, not all the cats are believing in the same beliefs as some of us are" she said, shooting a glare to all the StarClan believers. "It has come to my attention that we can't be a Clan like that any longer!" she yowled. "All of you weary star believers are not welcome in DuskClan any longer! I've put up with this LONG ENOUGH! DuskClan is a clan of the Dark Forest, if you don't accept that then you can live the life of a rouge, create a clan far away, or suffer the punishments! she hissed.
(not as long as I imagined it... I kinda blacked out)

(that's fine. i think while all the cats are awkwardly trying to leave, Rainstorm should have her kits)
Rainstorm was under a lot of pressure. She was due any time! She couldn't leave! She could barely move about the camp, much less leave the clan to find new territory. She looked around at the cats. Who would leave as well? Heavyfoot? Badgerfang? Were there any more? Many cats hid their beliefs.
Badgerfang spoke up, "What about medicine cats? They are the only connection to our ancestors. If you haven't noticed, StarClan helps us while the Dark Forest brings you sick power," he growled, "DuskClan will fall to sickness!"
Breezeclaw hissed when the elder stood up. How dare he! He growled and unsheathed his claws. But would he fight an elder? Even though Breezeclaw believed in the Dark Forest, he wouldn't turn against the Warrior Code. Even if it was made in StarClan, his parents had brought him up in it. What a disgrace...

Lunarstar scowled at Badgerfang. "What has StarClan ever done for us besides taking away three warriors?" she hissed "The Medicine Cats can believe what they wish..." she said with narrowed eyes. Both of the Medicine Cats were strict StarClan believers... "But it doesn't only take one cat to learn all the herbs" she said, unsure if that was true. She didn't know anything about herbs. Her claws flexed out and scraped the rock. If she would have to rake these cats from her territory, then so be it.

Rainstorm looked up, "But, but what about my kit?" she asked, "I'm due sometime soon. Don't you need more kits to grow up to be fine warriors?" She hoped Lunarstar wouldn't see her asking as a threat. She was genuinely curious. And worried about her kit.

Lunarstar's eyes focused on Rainstorm. "Your kit is not my problem" she snarled. The she-cat slid down the highrock and spun around to face the StarClan believers. "Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way. It's your choice, not mine" she said with a calm yet stern voice.

Badgerfang sighed and turned, he was the first to leave DuskClan territory. He was heading for the Battle Grounds. If anything, Badgerfang could gather the StarClan believers and make their own clan. Or a small band or something. Or they could join DawnClan. But could they? Badgerfang had grown up in DuskClan, would it be right to move clans?
Rainstorm nodded, "I suppose so..." she was about to thank Lunarstar for letting her stay as long she let her. But she followed closely behind Badgerfang, sending a longing glance at Firefoot's body. Knowing Lunarstar, she'd just dump the bodies in the swamp.

Lunarstar smiled with satisfication. She sat on her rear and wraped her tail around her paws. Easier than expected. She turned around and looked at those remaining. "If they were Dark Forest believers they wouldn't have backed down like puny kits" she said softly. Although by now quiet a few cats in the clan have bowed to their beliefs and the star believers wouldn't stand much of a chance.

Pantherstrike had been dragged from his den after he heard Lunarstar's call. With his eyes shining, he stayed where he was, not willing to follow the Starclan-loving cats. He sneered at Heavyfoot as he heaved to his large paws and began to follow Rainstorm. Heavyfoot glared at the black tom, Pantherstrike, his pale yellow eyes blazing. " You've made a mistake, Lunarstar! " He crowed, his eyes fierce with anger. " You've lost good warriors! " The senior tabby tom followed Rainstorm, his tail and chin held high in pride. Brushleaf stared in horror at Lunarstar, the Starclan cats would have to leave.... she felt torn in two." I'm sorry Mintwhisker, " She murmured, her body trembling as she raced away from her mentor. If Brushleaf wasn't needed as a medicine cat, then Lunarstar would have to fend for her clan's wounds on her own, with Mintwhisker to help her. The brown tabby she-cat raced away, still holding the extra herbs she had in her mouth. Chamomile, cobwebs, and marigold hung from her jaws, she hadn't been thinking when she had followed the Starclan believers. If Lunarstar didn't need her, then the Starclan cats probably needed her more as they were probably about to make a whole new clan. ( Surprise, Surprise )

"The only mistake I've made was allowing StarClan into DuskClan!" she hissed back at Heavyfoot. How could they be a clan if they didn't share the same ancestors? A clan split in two is barely a clan at all. Lunarstar watched with amusement as Brushleaf left. She never fancied the she-cat and never would. They always seemed to have held an enemy bond.
Lunarstar flicked her tail two the rest of the cats retreating. "I'm doing what's best for my clan. If you can't accept that, so be it!" she snapped to them as they started to vanish in the trees.

(now i only have one cat left in duskclan. and we need a deputy...in both clans...) Breezeclaw watched as the cats left. DuskClan had lost a bit less than half of their members. He hoped they did the right thing. Rainstorm looked back to see Brushleaf, " Hello Brushleaf. Good thing you came, my kit's due any moment." Badgerfang twitched his tail towards the battle grounds, " We're going to stay in the battle grounds."

(I think one of the clans should have a deputy called 'Shootingpelt'. I mean really, 'Shootingstar' would be a pretty wicked name! xD xD)

(Sorry this ish late. CURSE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO THE ABYSS! D:<)
Mintwhisker listened to Lunarstar's first announcement, about the deaths of the three warriors, with her head bowed in grief. When the leader continued after that, the aged she-cat looked up in surprise, a sense of growing horror overtaking her as the leader announced that Starclan-believers were no-longer a part of the clan.
When Brushleaf dashed out of camp, Mintwhisker felt a thorn-sharp pang of sadness in her chest, as if a cat had sunk claws into her heart, that turned into a dull ache. She had dearly loved her apprentice, and now Lunarstar was forcing her away from her birthclan, from the cats she had known and grew up beside.
She almost decided to leave herself, but she wasn't going to leave the clan in the paws of a seemingly insane leader, and she wasn't going to leave them without a medicine cat either, not with the threat of battle looming overhead like thunderclouds, threatening to break out at any moment.
(Meh, not great, but it works.)
